Proud to represent St. Judes Children's Hospital; Kristin Murphy, formerly Canny, was always an athlete. She participated in 5ks, worked as a lifeguard, and was an essential member of various swim teams throughout her athletic career. Fitness was a big part of her life. Kristin's passion for swimming brought her to meet her current husband Steven Murphy through swim teams. The two swim fanatics got married and set goals together in the world of fitness; including a 70.3 for Kristin.

However, things changed when Kristin suffered a neck injury with lifelong impacts. Kristin was ready to forgo her dream after years of working through the pain. She made her way back to the pool with the support of her husband, and family, but the other events seemed far out of reach. Her sister-in-law Sarah Murphy owner of Kings Fitness in addition to being an Elementary School Teacher, and Triathlete offered to help make her goal of completing a 70.3 possible by committing to the bike.

There was one missing component, the run. Alejandra Laguna; also part of the Murphy tribe, and an athlete since she was young, is an enthusiastic runner. Without hesitation Alejandra accepted the position of completing the team.

It was only fitting for the three women; a Nurse, Teacher/Youth Fitness Coach, and Youth Trauma Psychologist to represent St. Judes Children’s Hospital. Through overcoming their own obstacles they will raise money and hope for Children at St. Judes to overcome their own battles. Everyone loves a Comeback Kid.
